SARA Pharm Solutions (www.sara-pharm.com) is a privately owned company, the first Eastern European technology-driven CRO that focuses on solid-state pharmaceuticals, advanced materials and catalysis. The company’s headquarters and laboratories are located in Bucharest, Romania. Founded in 2011, SARA Pharm Solutions offers drug pre-formulation services (screenings), process optimization and analytic services. Our main field of expertise is screening for polymorphs, salts, co-crystals, amorphous solid dispersions. We routinely perform crystallization experiments (including single crystal growth), involving a wide array of techniques. Our Quality Management System (QMS) is in full compliance with ISO9001:2008 (certificate no. 163540-2014-AQ-ROU-RvA). We can perform analyses under EU-GMP (XRPD, DSC, TGA, HPLC analysis and method validation & development).

Infrastructure: We have specialized facilities and equipment for solid-state investigations: Bruker D8 Discover diffractometer with DAVINCI configuration, simultaneous Setaram LABSYS EVO thermo-gravimetric/differential scanning calorimeter (TGA-DTA/DSC) with robot, Setaram DSC131 EVO (standalone DSC), Agilent 1260 Infinity chromatograph with DAD, OPTIKA B353-POL polarising microscope, equipped with a digital camera and image capture software (Optika Microscopes Italy V1.0), Titrator Titroline KF TRACE, Inolab 730 pH meter, Memmert HPP110 Constant climate chamber, Memmert Vacuum chamber.
